Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, ZEED Deputy Director

Sarah Oliver began at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in 2019. She oversees all Zoo operations and staff, supporting the ZEED director.

Sarah is an Olympia, Washington native with a career in nonprofit leadership. Passionate about supporting her staff to grow and achieve a collective vision, she has served as the deputy director for Olympic Workforce Development (Area 1) and assistant director of workforce development for Goodwill (Olympics and Rainier Region). She has also directed youth and women’s job training services.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington.
