Adjusted facility hours in observance of the Juneteenth holiday

In observance of Juneteenth, Thursday, June 19, 2025, the Parks Tacoma main office will be closed and our four community centers will operate with limited hours.

At STAR Center, Treetops Playgrounds will be open for Family Play from 8 am-12 pm. Family Play sessions require an adult to remain with children at the playground.

Juneteenth Hours

• Eastside Community Center: 9 am-2 pm
• Center at Norpoint: 7 am-11am
• People’s Center: 9 am-2 pm
• STAR Center8 am- 12 pm
  Treetops Playgrounds: 8 am- 12 pm – Family Play Only
• W.W. Seymour Conservatory: 10 am-2 pm
