Homeschool students explore science through hands-on experiments, activities and inquiry-based learning. Class fees will be a per month fee. Students must be registered for all nine months of the school year (September-May)*. The monthly fee will be auto-charged at the beginning of each month.

How to Apply

With a high demand for limited programming, homeschool science registration requires a digital application for the full school year. Application will be available on website when registration opens according to schedule outlined below.
- Priority is given to current students, siblings of current students, and TNC Members.
- A separate application is required for each student.

Registration Schedule

MAY 5 – MAY 21 (2025): Current students and siblings of current students in the 2024-2025 school year may submit applications. Applications from current students/siblings will be accepted and placed into classes in the order received. Turn in your application early for the best chance of placement into classes. A link to the application will be emailed to current student families. Notifications will be made as registration occurs.
JUNE 2 – JUNE 16 (2025): TNC Members may submit applications. Applications from TNC Members will be accepted and placed into classes in the order received. Turn in your application early for the best chance of placement into classes. A link to the application will be available on the website beginning on June 2nd. Notifications will be made as registration occurs.
JUNE 5, 2025 (6 pm – 7 pm): The homeschool science coordinator will hold a virtual open house to present detailed information about the program and answer questions.
JUNE 23, 2025: Non-TNC member applications will be accepted. Email [email protected] for an application link.

- If you would like assistance determining which level is appropriate for your child contact Lauren at [email protected]. Students stay in the same level all year. Children with birthdays prior to Nov 1st who span two levels may choose either level. Example: a child turning 8 on October 31st may register for either Budding Scientists or Elementary. No ages exceptions granted.
