About Hamilton Park

Hamilton Park was named in 1984 to honor City Attorney Robert Hamilton.

Robert Hamilton served as City Attorney for 29 years before retiring, and then-Councilmember Jack Hyde proposed naming the parcel after him in recognition “for his long and dedicated and honorable service.”

It’s one of the Ruston Way sections owned by the City of Tacoma and managed by Parks Tacoma.
