Your Parks, Your Voice
Parks Tacoma’ current 2-year Capital Improvement Plan (2023-24 CIP) includes several Central Tacoma/Hilltop improvement projects. Additionally, Parks Tacoma is conducting an updated needs assessment for parks and facilities systemwide, as we work toward a 2024 update to our 6-year strategic plan.
All of these processes invite opportunities for community input to help guide everything from park improvement projects funded through the 2014 Bond, to informing the District’s long-range goals and strategic priorities.
We are developing a new approach to engagement. In response to community requests, we are working to be more comprehensive in our community conversations about all of these topics. The site linked here is one tool we’ll be using to receive community input and help increase awareness of project timelines and status, beginning with these five:
