Includes the entire Fort Nisqually grounds inside the palisade (1.5 acres) and access to the Great Room,
restrooms and kitchenette.

Additional Info

  • Cleaning fee: $185 ($285 if alcohol is served) – Non-refundable
  • Damage Deposit: $500 ($750 if alcohol is served) – Refundable
  • Beer and wine allowed with permit and licensed bartender
    • Security fee (required from beginning of alcohol service to end of rental, 4 hour minimum)
  • 60 chairs (indoor only)
    • no outdoor chairs provided, renter must bring own chairs for outdoor use.
  • Tables: 6 – 5 round (indoor only)
  • Tables: 8 – 5 ft. rectangular, 3 – 6×2.5 ft. rectangular, 3 – 6×2 ft. rectangular (indoor/outdoor)
  • Screen for slide projection, projector may be available for additional fee (subject to availability)

Additional amenities available

  • $35 per hour for each building staffed by interpreter in period clothing (4 hour minimum)
  • $45 per hour (4 hour minimum) for demonstrations and/or activities such as:
    • Blacksmith
    • Period cooking demonstration
    • Black powder demonstrations
    • 19th century games
    • Kid’s Outstation activities
    • Woodworking demonstrations
    • Special focus programs
  • Candle Lanterns to add that “period” feel:
    • $100 for 10 lanterns w/candles (+$15 each additional, up to 30)

To reserve a date, the minimum hour rental are required with balance due no later than 90 days in advance of the contracted event date.

Decorating/set-up and clean-up must be completed within the contracted rental time.

Cancellation:

  • 90 days or more before reservation date – 100% refund
  • 89-60 days before reservation date – 50% refund
  • Less than 60 days before reservation date – no refund
