- Party time slots available are either 10:00-12:30 or 1:00-3:30
- The Discovery Pond one hour exclusive use times are non-negotiable and are either 10:30 or 1:30 dependent on party slot selected.
- The picnic area has a shade shelter, but it is not waterproof. There is no inside space available during inclement weather. You may bring your own pop-up tent(s).
- There are no barbecues allowed and there is no electricity or running water in the picnic area. It is open to the public except when reserved.

Live Animal Encounter – This 20-30 minute party add-on includes a visit with a live turtle and a “show and tell” session involving biofacts representing your choice of 3 types of animals. You can reserve this program for the Discovery Pond area during that reserved hour, or for the Picnic Shelter. You will also be provided with a scavenger hunt that can be used in Discovery Pond during your one hour reserved time or along with the general public at any other time. The $75.00 fee must be paid at the time of the reservation. Choose 3 of these animals for the biofact segment: skunk, owl, raccoon, fox, turtle, beaver, Steller’s jay, or let the naturalist pick!
Private Nature Walk – Enjoy a private 45-60 minute nature walk on the trails at the Nature Center with a naturalist before or after your birthday party. Learn about the plants and animals that call this special place home as you walk and explore. The guide can tailor the walk to your groups physical abilities and interests. The $100.00 fee must be paid at the time of the reservation. Maximum of 30 people, ideal for 15. Please book your private nature walk for before or after your party time slot. We do not recommend trying to fit a nature walk into a party package time frame.
