Every year, as part of the Point Defiance Flower and Garden Festival, we invite companies and organizations to install customized display gardens that live beyond the festival. These partnerships add the the vibrancy of Point Defiance Park and showcase the talents of these local companies and organizations.

The Secret Garden

A version of Moore’s roughly 30-foot-square garden, showcased at the 2024 Northwest Flower and Garden Festival, will be installed at Point Defiance Park this year in time for the annual Flower and Garden Festival.

Designed to inspire and captivate, this ethereal space weaves a tapestry of magic for young adventurers and those young at heart.

Sensory Garden

Quiet Area & Sensory Garden

Hours: Saturday and Sunday: 12-3 pm

Location: The quiet area and sensory garden are located north of the pond.

A tent will be designated as a quiet space for people who would like to step away to a quieter environment before rejoining the fun. The space will be furnished with chairs, tables and small cushions.

Sensory tools such as headphones and earplugs will be available to check out along with some quiet hands on activities for calming the senses. There will be a small “sensory garden” near the tent with different plants to explore through touch and smell.
