The historic Tacoma Chess Club is partnering with Parks Tacoma to bring drop in chess to our community centers 3 nights a week!
Join us Tuesdays and Fridays from 6-10 pm at the Eastside Community Center or Thursdays from 6-10 pm at STAR center.
- All boards and materials are provided
- All ages welcome! Ages 12 & under receive free admission and must have an adult present
- $3 admission to drop-in once
- $5/month for unlimited drop-in
- Senior Rate: $3/month for anyone 65+

Yes! Unless:
- You are under 12 years old (NOTE: must have an adult present)
- Are watching, not playing
- Have already paid

What are the fees and how do I pay?

Rates are payable at the front desk of each community center. The current membership rates are:
- $3 admission to drop-in once
- $5/month for unlimited drop-in
- Senior Rate: $3/month for anyone 65+
You will have the option to pay for 6 months up front ($30) or opt in to a payment plan for $5/month.

What does the fee go towards?

- Space to continue playing, including past close
- Maintaining current equipment
- Future Tacoma Chess Club events

How do I cancel my membership?

Tacoma Chess Club Membership can be cancelled any month by calling 253-305-1060.
