Open year-round from sunrise to sunset, this 8-lane launch ramp located next to the Vashon Ferry Terminal at Point Defiance Park is the largest launch facility in the South Sound. During peak months, attendants help ensure your launch experience is smooth.

Please be advised that the gate at the top of the roundabout that accesses the boat launch currently opens at 4:30 am in the morning.

Commercial Use
Commercial use of the launch facility is available with a permit only and must not interfere with recreational boating. Contact the Marina office at the tackle shop for more information. Commercial use is defined as but not limited to loading and unloading shell fish harvest and/or building materials from vessels tied to or beached in our launch facility.
