In Partnership with The Ikkatsu Project

The Ikkatsu Project will be joining the Community Litter Cleanup to analyze the collected garbage and provide knowledge on the effect of microplastics in the Puget Sound. The Sprayground Squad 1

The Ikkatsu Project, founded in Tacoma in 2012, conducts expeditions along the Pacific Northwest and Alaska coastlines, surveying for marine debris and raising awareness about ocean pollution through print, films, and data-gathering. Through kayaking expeditions and scientific surveys, they aim to understand and address the pervasive threat of pollution, emphasizing the interconnectedness of ecosystems and the importance of collective action to preserve our oceans.
