On August 11, 2025, the Park Board meeting will be conveniently held at People’s Community Center.
Meet the commissioners and learn more about what’s happening at the center and around the park district.

A five-member Board of Park Commissioners governs Parks Tacoma and is the policy determining body for the park district. A study session begins before each meeting, as needed, at 5:30 pm. See the agenda for more details, which will be posted prior to the meeting.
