Point Defiance Bird Walk
Fourth Sunday of the Month | 9:00-11:00 am, meet at the 5-mile Drive Entrance in Point Defiance Park
Free to attend, drop-ins welcome
(All Ages) Join a Park Guide-led bird walk through the old-growth forest of Point Defiance Park in search of eagles, woodpeckers and other forest dwelling species. The walk is held the fourth Sunday of every month, rain or shine!
- Please bring your own binoculars, but extras are available to borrow upon request.
- Participants must be able to travel on unpaved, uneven trails for up to three miles.
- Meet at the entrance gate of the 5-Mile Drive in Point Defiance, just past the Owen Beach road turn-off.
