Help behind the Bear Grotto at Point Defiance Park and give back to your community by caring for this important area in the park. The Bear Grotto is a beautiful spot, but pesky weeds are trying to take over! Remove invasive blackberries, thistles, and other unwanted weeds to improve the health of the habitat! All ages and abilities are welcome! Tools and work gloves provided.

Wear sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a water bottle. Tools, gloves, and training provided.

Free parking is in the designated parking spaces along Roberts Garden Drive, directly in front of the Bear Grotto.
Youth Participant Waiver
If you are under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, please come to the event with our Youth Participant Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
