Participatory Budgeting is a democratic process in which a community decided how to spend a portion of their government’s budget.

How much funding does this project have?

Parks Tacoma community centers have budgeted $40,000 ($10,000 per center) for the community-led projects. This expands our Co-Create to Recreate process by including funding for our community center users to lead a project specific to each center.

How do I get involved?

Co-Create to Recreate events are a great way to connect with people in your community and enjoy a free meal together. Join in tabletop discussions, meet the staff, share your ideas and have an influence on things that happen at the center
