Participatory Budgeting is a democratic process in which a community decided how to spend a portion of their government’s budget.

How much funding does this project have?

Parks Tacoma community centers have budgeted $40,000 ($10,000 per center) for the community-led projects. This expands our Co-Create to Recreate process by including funding for our community center users to lead a project specific to each center.

How do I get involved?

Submit your ideas for a $10,000 project from March 6-April 30, 2025. Links to visit the “idea wall” for each center will appear below after each Co-Create to Recreate event:
