A word from Keith
I coach with the mindset that the swing should be made with effortless power, not powerless effort. The difference between the two comes down to understanding the basics of the swing sequence.
While certain principles of the swing apply to all, differences in body type, height, weight, balance, flexibility, strength, and gender must be taken into consideration. Bottom line: No two swings are the same, but all swings can be effective. I look forward to working with you to find your best swing, to better enjoy this great game.

[email protected]Come take a lesson from one of the best golfers in the Northwest! As good of a golfer as I have worked to become, I might be a better golf instructor. Not only did I grow up on Kitsap GCC from a young age, I was around the best of the best (golfers and instructors) learning the craft. In my life I’ve taken lessons from 3 remarkable Coaches; Bob Kelly, Carl Welty, and my swing Coach forever is Kenny Kubitz. Not only that I went and studied the game while trying to become the best golfer I can be, from a short game guru in the “Z-Man” and a mental Coach named Shawn Humphries. While working in the bag room at PGA West Stadium course, I practiced daily at the Mclean school, which is where I picked up many skills. I have a “Doctorate” in Ball Striking, I have mastered the craft. I have been a Director of Instruction for the last 8 years and I am the Head Golf Coach at University of Puget Sound presently.
After high school, my quest in golf started as I walked on at the University of Washington. I out worke
d everyone to see if I could catch my talent, and I became a great college golfer. I am proud to say that I was a leader and Captain on teams that fought for National Championships; we were ranked in the top 10 every year. My Coaches were OD Vincent III and Matt Thurmond, both in the NCAA Hall of Fame. After college, I moved to the sunshine and chased the PGA Tour for many years. I had a blast playing everything in AZ and Cali, and 5 years on the Canadian Tour. Here is a list of some of my best results playing:
-Western Intercollegiate Individual Champion
-US Amateur, Round of 16
-Kitsap Am Champion
-Rosaurs Invite 2023 Champion
-WA State Open runner-up 2022/2024
-Canadian Tour best finish, 3rd place
-Captain of UW Golf 2002-2003
