Project Overview
Parks Tacoma is replacing the play equipment in Cloverdale Park in 2025 and looking for your input to design the new playground. We are gathering community input which will inform the new playground equipment. Stay up to date and cast your vote by participating in our interactive website linked below.
Our goal is to gather your input and have the community vote on their favorite design options later this year, so we can order the equipment to complete installation.
A power pole that currently stands in the middle of the field of Cloverdale Park will also be relocated as part of this project. The power pole relocation will solve safety issues and improve the overall design and aesthetic of the park.

How to Participate:
Step 1: Take the survey by April 20 to help inform the design of Cloverdale Park.
Step 2: Vote on final designs in a second survey.

- March-April 2025 – Outreach & Public Input: Community Survey #1
- June 2025 – Vote online for preferred design concept: Community Survey #2
- Fall-Winter 2025 – Construction
- Spring 2026 – Reopening Celebration
