Featuring a twelve-sided central dome and 3,000 panes of glass, the Conservatory will offer you and your guests the beauty of more than 250 species of exotic tropical plants as well as a beautiful, changing display of blooming plants.
The inside of the W.W. Seymour Conservatory is perfect for an intimate ceremony with up to 45 guests.

Conservatory Rental
- Rental Rate: $275 per hour
- Capacity: 50
- 1-hour minimum (30-min increments can be added after the 1-hour minimum)
- Available seating in main area for 30 (folding white chairs are available for no additional cost)
- Portable Bluetooth Speaker
- Renters are responsible for setup, break down and clean up

When do I need a photo permit?

Photo permits are needed for posed photography (examples include but are not limited to engagement photos, graduation photos, engagement photos, fashion shoots, and commercial nature photography) Quick, candid photos you take with your personal camera or phone during your visit do not require a photo permit.
Please note: Additional photo permits are not required if you are reserving the conservatory unless you would like to take photo’s outside of your rental hours.

When can I schedule a photo permit?

Photo permits are available to be scheduled:
- April-September – 10 am-4 pm. Wednesday-Sunday
- October-March – 10 am-3 pm. Wednesday-Sunday.
- Photo sessions may be scheduled outside of normal operating times for a higher permit fee.
- Please note: Additional photo permits are not required if you are reserving the conservatory unless you would like to take photo’s outside of your rental hours.

How much does a photo permit cost?

Wednesday-Friday: $30 per half hour or $50 per hour
Saturday-Sunday: $40 dollars per half hour or $70 per hourNote: weekends are extremely busy at the conservatory; we recommend purchasing a permit for the beginning of the day.

Photography Guidelines

- Photo sessions will not be scheduled during scheduled programs or events.
- The Conservatory will remain open to the public during your photo permit.
- Please share the building and the pathways with other visitors. You may need to pause taking photos to let people pass. (If this causes a significant disruption to your permit time, speak with staff to extend your time at no cost)
- The building closes at 4 pm – your session must be completed by then.
- We do have a restroom on site, but we ask that your clients arrive ready and not use the restroom as a dressing room.
- Do not block the walking pathways
- Do not step in the garden beds
