Project Overview
Parks Tacoma is in the planning phase of constructing an addition to this park that will connect to the City of Tacoma’s Pipeline Trail at the climbing boulders outside Eastside Community Center. The trail will begin from 56th Street. More details on the project design and direction will be posted here when available. The project will include:
- Small play area
- Exercise equipment
- Benches
- Bike rack
- Connection to the Pipeline Trail
- Entry sign for clearer wayfinding

- Fall 2025-Winter 2026: Design
- March-Summer 2026: Construction
- Summer-Fall 2026: Opening celebration
